OptiNumeric
The OptiNumeric represents a reliable and continuously improved multi-axis control for special machines, handling machines and industrial robots. A parallel interpolator is used as the core technology, which controls all axes via configurable ramps. Through the consistent use of FPGAs, hardware-related circuit implementation is achieved. The result is an optimal system performance. In addition, the use of FPGAs, a VHDL-based adaptation of the hardware, offers the individual application requirements of the controller. Due to the implementation by means of FPGAs respectively the hardware description language VHDL, no complex changes to the control boards are necessary if adaptation is required. A quick and economical adaptation is the consequence of this architecture.
